Founder & Lead Introducer
Mick has spent over 25 years working exclusively with law firms, advising owners on growth, succession, mergers and acquisitions, and leading hundreds of confidential conversations across the UK.
He founded matchmaker+ to bring a modern, discreet introducer-led model to the legal sector — one that prioritises trust, control and confidentiality for firm owners exploring their next move.
Mick personally leads all buyer and seller qualification, oversees every introduction, and remains closely involved throughout each process, ensuring that every conversation is handled thoughtfully, privately and with long-term outcomes in mind.
Myles Eardley
Project Manager
Myles plays a central role in the day-to-day delivery of matchmaker⁺ projects, supporting both buyers and sellers as opportunities progress from initial enquiry through to live discussions.
He manages project coordination, firm research, data preparation and communications, helping ensure that every opportunity moves forward smoothly, confidentially and at the right pace.
Working closely with Mick, Myles helps maintain momentum across active projects, ensuring that introductions are well-timed, information is handled carefully, and all parties experience a clear and professional process throughout.

Johanna is a Director and part owner of the business behind matchmaker⁺, supporting the operational foundations that allow the platform to grow in a controlled and sustainable way.
She contributes to business operations, internal processes and client experience, helping ensure that matchmaker⁺ runs smoothly behind the scenes as activity and demand increase.
Working alongside the leadership team, Johanna brings a calm, considered approach to the ongoing development of the business and its long-term direction.
Tom Wagstaffe
Consultant | Lancashire & Greater Manchester
Tom Wagstaffe joins the Matchmaker⁺ consultant network covering Lancashire and Greater Manchester, bringing with him extensive experience of the legal recruitment market and strong relationships with law firms across the North West.
As founder of Legal Eagle Recruitment, Tom has spent many years working closely with managing partners, senior lawyers and growing regional firms, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges firms face around growth, succession and strategic change.
Through Matchmaker⁺, Tom works with law firm owners who may be considering a merger, acquisition, succession plan or strategic partnership, helping them explore options in a confidential and structured way. His recruitment background means he is often close to the conversations that signal change within firms, making him well placed to identify opportunities early.
Tom’s appointment further strengthens the growing Matchmaker⁺ consultant network across the UK, ensuring firms in Lancashire and Greater Manchester have a local contact who understands both the regional legal market and the national buyer network.
Lindsey McCracken
Consultant | Northern Ireland & Scotland
Lindsey McCracken joins Matchmaker⁺ as our consultant for Northern Ireland and Scotland, bringing extensive experience from the legal sector through her background in legal recruitment.
Having worked closely with law firm partners and leadership teams, Lindsey has a strong understanding of the challenges firms face around growth, succession, recruitment, and long-term planning. This makes her a natural fit for Matchmaker⁺, where conversations are always shaped around the firm’s objectives and the owner’s personal goals.
Based in Northern Ireland and working across Scotland, Lindsey supports both buyers and sellers, helping firms explore acquisition, succession, and exit options in a discreet, considered way. Her appointment strengthens our regional presence as Matchmaker⁺ continues to expand across both markets.
Noah Eardley
Marketing & Research Support
Noah supports the matchmaker⁺ team across firm research, data cleansing and marketing activity, helping ensure that outreach, communications and project information are accurate, well-prepared and up to date.
He also assists with social media and digital content, supporting the ongoing visibility of matchmaker⁺ as the business continues to grow.
Working alongside Mick and Myles on a part-time basis, Noah plays a valuable supporting role in keeping projects organised, information clean, and marketing activity consistent across platforms.
Teddy & Vinny | Office Managers
Teddy and Vinny occasionally visit the Matchmaker⁺ office and are responsible for welcomes, security and keeping an eye on the team. They are particularly effective at biscuit inspections.
